Amy Doyle to Depart as General Manager of MTV, VH1, CMT and Logo
Amy Doyle is departing her article as general manager of MTV, VH1 and other ViacomCBS cable networks.
Doyle was with Viacom because 1999 and was an integral lieutenant of Chris McCarthy, head of ViacomCBS’ Entertainment and Youth unit which homes MTV, VH1, Comedy Central, Paramount Network and other cable manufacturers and manufacturing components. Doyle most recently functioned as g.m. of MTV, VH1, CMT and Logo.
ViacomCBS is in the midst of layoffs and restructuring following the merger of Viacom and CBS Corp. in December, but Doyle’s decision to proceed was her very own. McCarthy announced her death Tuesday at a memo to staffers. Doyle will depart the organization in the spring following a transition period.
“Through her long and productive tenure, she’ll leave a heritage of constructing amazing teams, championing ability and producing some of their most memorable moments in pop-culture history,” McCarthy wrote. “She’s a enormous winner of our brands, our societal effect work and all you — she’s helped shape the soul and heart of the business and therefore we thank her .”
Doyle formerly led MTV’s music team and has been famous for her work at shepherding jobs with such celebrities as Beyoncé, Adele, Camila Cabello, P!nk, Queen Latifah, Florence and the Machine, Tiffany Haddish, Rebel Wilson and Chelsea Handler. She was likewise co-chair of MTV’s Save the Music Foundation that assisted affirmed music programs in public colleges.
