Aquaman the movie, which was directed by James Wan and starred Jason Momoa in the lead role was finally able to become the first DCEU movie to have made more than $1 billion in the worldwide box office.
Warner Bros Picture’s Aquaman was able to cross Rs 7075 crore mark in the global box office, which helped them to make another record. It’s been one month since the release of the movie and team of Aquaman is really happy that this movie has turned up to be such a big success. This movie has been successfully able to stay in the top spot for the last four weeks internationally since the release. The President of Worldwide Distribution, Warner Bros. Picture Group Ron Sanders came out and announced

James Wan also shared with the press:

This is one of the biggest movies that DC have made in quite some time and people had an expectation that it is bound to do good in box office. A lot of people might not have expected that this movie will become such a big thing in the global market.
The storyline of Aquaman is very new and since this is the first time that Aquaman released, people absolutely appreciated the superhero. Some of the other actors who are part of this movie are Amber Heard, Patrick Wilson, Willem Dafoe, Yahya Abdul Mateen II, Dolph Lundgren, and Nicole Kidman. The acting of the movie is really good and all the actors were able to do justice to their character. Aquaman was released in IMAX, 2D, and 3D.
