Armando Iannucci Joins Forces With ‘Intouchables’ & ‘Loss of life Of Stalin’ Producer For Westling Comedy ‘Sumo’ – EFM
Veep creator Armando Iannucci is becoming a member of forces with Intouchables and Loss of life Of Stalin producer Yann Zenou on a coming-of-age comedy set on the planet of novice Sumo wrestling.
Iannucci will act as government producer and can be becoming a member of fellow BAFTA-winning producers Emily Leo and Oliver Roskill in addition to Ado Yoshizaki Cassuto and Gianluca Chakra.
Additionally becoming a member of the staff is Australian director Natalie Bailey who has collaborated with Iannucci on HBO’s TV present Avenue 5 and BBC’s The Thick Of It. Rocket Science is dealing with worldwide gross sales on the European Movie Market. The purpose is for a theatrical launch, in accordance with the companions.
The movie follows the story of Jonah, a silver tongued and chubby child with low vanity who meets Hana, a Japanese feminine janitor at his college – and an ex Sumo wrestler. Together with a pedantic and friendless constructing supervisor, the unlikely trio set about constructing a Dohjo, and coaching for the US Sumo Open.
American-Japanese actor Suzy Nakamura from HBO’s Avenue 5 and ABC’s Dr. Ken has dedicated for the function of Hana. The script was written by Brit checklist scribe Richard Galazka.
