Every generation has a few elves chosen by God Sephirah, from the Elf Tribe that resides in the Black Clover universe. The chosen elves are supposedly the only ones who hold the power to open the gates of magic between the world of the living and the realm of Hell, also known as the Kingdom Shadows.
