Bleach Filler List: All Episodes You Can Skip to Watch in 2020
Bleach is a shonen anime, and one of the most popular and loved anime worldwide. And one of the main reasons why Bleach anime is unique is because it’s probably the only (or maybe not, but certainly one of the few) shonen anime that does not have a nonchalant character who’s always on the edge of an extreme emotional spectrum.
It’s like the show starts with the main protagonist, Ichigo who is already full-fledged mature. This is quite a rare trait that you’d find in only a few other shonen mangas like Naruto and Luffy. Ichigo is someone you look up to and find inspiration from, one who motivates you to set goals and complete them no matter what.
This we’ve brought you the Bleach filler list, which consists of episodes that you can skip without worry. Go through our list, take note, and keep these episodes for a leisurely binge-watch session on some other day.

The anime revolves around underlying, mystical powers that a mere teenage boy never knew about only to discover that his friends are a part of it too. But Bleach has around 366 episodes, and if you watch one a day it’d take you almost a year to complete it.

Bleach: Plot Summary
Ichigo Kurosaki is a special teenager with the capability of seeing ghosts and ghoulish creatures. Things take a turn when he meets Rukia Kuchiki, a soul reaper. Rukia enters Ichigo room trying to kill a hollow, much to Ichigo’s surprise and that’s how they first meet.
A soul repeater is a soldier of the Soul Society who is entrusted with the work to kill and thus purify the dead spirits, and usher them back to the Soul Society. When Rukia gets terribly injured, she transfers her powers to Ichigo so that he can fight instead of her.
This results in Rukia turning into a normal human for a while, with no powers whatsoever. The plot progresses as Rukia assists Ichigo to fight the ghouls and hollows to save human lives.
Rukia gets sentenced to death when the Soul Society finds out that she has committed the unforgivable felony of transferring her powers to a human. Ichigo and his friends seek the help of Kisuke Urahara, who is a former soul reaper, to train and rescue Rukia.
Once they arrive at the Soul Society, conflicts arise between them and the Bleach captains of the 13 squads. Suddenly, we learn that the head of the fifth squad, Aizen-Osama is dead, or rather, murdered.
This leads to internal conflicts among the squadmates, and thus Captain Commander Genryusai Shigekuni Yamamoto lodges a warrant to go find Ichigo and his group, as he thought they’re responsible for it all. In the end, we get to know that Aizen was the culprit, and he faked his own murder as he had ulterior motives to obtain the Hyoguku.
He, Gin Ichimaru and Kaname Tosen leave for Hueco Mundo, the world of hollows. All of it comes as a shock as Gin and Kaname, both were the captains of the 3rd and 9th squads and no one expected them to turn out to be the supervillains.
After the incident, the attacks and fights of Hollows start to increase inevitably. Aizen’s evil mutiny is now joined by his 10 most powerful Arrancars, and also the Vizards Aizen’s failed experiment to make a hollow-soul reaper hybrid.
When Orihime is kidnapped by them, Ichigo and his friends train to leave for Hueco Mundo and rescue her. Once Ichigo saves Orihime bleach, Aizen reveals that all he wanted to do was create a distraction for Ichigo.
That he has let all his hollows loose on Karakura Town who would feed on human souls, which would help create the Soul King’s Palace. Aizen also unveils that he is planning to enter the Soul King Palace and kill the Soul King, who happens to rule the Soul Society.
However, the tables turn when we learn that the thirteen squads had already foreseen Aizen’s attack, and thus transported Karakura town to the Soul Society instead. In the end, we learn that Gin wanted to kill Aizen, however, fails to do so as Aizen gets hold of the Hyogoku and turns into a massive hollow, someone impossible to beat.
In the end, Ichigo manages to finish Aizen once and for all by sacrificing his Soul Reaper powers and returning to a normal, powerless human again.
Fast-forward to months later when Ichigo is seen preparing as to what he’d do after the school’s over. However, he is summoned by the Soul Society again, to put an end to Xcution. They are a group of Fullbringers who have been supernaturally-able humans like Chad and his close people to siphon their capabilities.
We also get to know that the gang’s leader, Kugo Ginjo, as Ichigo’s predecessor. Ichigo learns that the Soul Society gives a stamp to a substitute soul reaper as they cannot trust them fully, and thus use it to track their activities and limit their powers.
As Ginjo felt major remorse regarding his betrayal, he swore to avenge his dismay from the Soul Society. Nonetheless, Ichigo still accepts the offer and decides to fight, and eventually makes Ginjo bite the dust.
This takes a turn when a group of Quincies known as Wadenreich declare war on the Soul Society. They had already captured numerous Arrancars in Hueco Mundo and now wanted to proceed and capture Soul Society thanks to their age-old rivalry with the soul reapers.
Yhwach is the leader of the group, whose ultimate motive was to kill the Soul King and thus free the world from the fear of death. Initially, they successfully kill numerous Soul Reapers, which also included the sad demise of the Captain Commander.
In the meantime, Uryu gains Yhwach’s trust and joins them but actually wants to avenge his mother’s death, for which Yhwach was responsible. Yhwach succeeds in siphoning the powers of the Soul King and growing more powerful, returning to Soul Society to finish everything for once and for all. However, Ichigo, Renji, and Uryu join forces and kill Yhwach together.
The story ends with Rukia and Renji having a baby daughter called Ichika, and Orihime and Ichigo having a boy called Kazui who also aspires to become a soul reaper. And you can also watch this bleach without fillers to save time in 2020.
