Hearthstone Adds Demon Hunters, Its First New Class Since Launch
After six years of card-battling Mages, Monks, Shaman, Warriors, Rogues, Hunters, Warlocks, and Paladins, Blizzard’s World of Warcraft-inspired buying and selling card sport lastly will get some new blood. The Demon Hunter arrives on April 7 as a part of the Ashes of Outland growth.
The primary new class added to Hearthstone since its 2014 launch, the Demon Hunter has an “in-your-face” playstyle, based on the official announcement. Illidan Stormrage is the category’ hero character, swiping at his opponents together with his claws and blades and summoning huge demons to complete them off.
Heartstone gamers can unlock the Demon Hunter class by finishing a narrative marketing campaign that retells Illidan’s origin (once more). Finishing the marketing campaign, which launches on April 2, grants gamers all 10 primary Demon Hunter playing cards, a 20-card Demon Hunter Provoke set, and a pre-built Demon Hunter deck record.
The Ashes of Outland growth, launching April 7, sees gamers touring to Outland and coping with yet one more demon legion. It’s bought new collectible “fel-infused” playing cards and new sport mechanics to fiddle with. The official website has more details.
Hearthstone gamers hoping for a playable Monk class can proceed to suck it.
