Highschool DxD Season 5 Release Date

Previously, it was saying that the fifth season of Highschool DxD will release in October 2020, but due to Coronavirus Pandemic, we think that the production will complete till the end of 2020, and it will release in 2021. What happened in Highschool DxD so far?

As the name indicates, the series revolves around a Highschool named Kuoh Academy and its second-year student Issie Hyoudou. Kuoh Academy was only girls school first, but now it has converted into a co-ed school, and it’s not just a normal school. Unknown to normal students, In this school, lots od devils and fallen angels are admitted as students. Each season of Highschool DxD is made from one or two volumes of the light series novel. The first season comprises of the first two volumes of the light series novel, and it revolves around the main character Issie Hyoudou who lives a peaceful life but one day asked for a date by a girl named Yuma Amano. On their first date, she reveals her true identity as a fallen angel named Raynare and asks Issie to die for her.

The next day, when Issie wakes up, he thinks it all was a dream, but he found a naked woman beside him whose name is Rias Gremory- a third-year student and Devil. She reveals Issie that he died yesterday only, and she reincarnated him, which makes her new demon master of Issei. Issei accepts his new life and joins Occult Research Club to serve Rias. The rest of the seasons revolves around Issie, Rias, their friends, and subsequent angels & demons. Season 2 revolves around Rias, Riser Phoenix, and Rating Game System. Rias’s father wants her to get married to Riser Phoenix, but she doesn’t want it. So, she, along with her team, challenges Riser for Rating Game challenge, and the rest of the season revolves around it.

The third season revolves around Holy Sword Project “Excalibur.” To protect the Excalibur from other demons and destroy it, Issie, Rias, Akeno, Kiba, and other team members fight with fallen angels like Kokabiel and defeats him by destroying Excalibur. Kokabiel reveals a shocking truth to them that In the Great War, all Gods died along with few satans. Later, Issie meets Azazel, the leader of the fallen angels, and he refers to Issie as “the Emperor of the Red Dragon.” The fourth season revolves around Issie and a new character Kunou. Kunou asks Issie to help her, and the first half of the season revolves around it. The second half of the season revolves around the dark and strange behavior of Issie. Not only this, when Rias expresses her feelings for him, but he also gives a very vague response to her.
