The whole plot of this series tends to highlight a phishing scam, or rather, entirely revolves around it. But the catch is that the scam, in particular, isn’t the main focus. Even though the story revolves around the lines of it and highlights it, it’s less about how the scam takes place and more about the people involved in it.

Jamtara is basically a series about a gang of friends, who conduct phishing scams on the regular and mint millions (metaphorically) in no time. Jamatara starts making headlines, surfacing in every news, and energy report being broadcasted all over the country.

So much so that the police officials start to have a looming, growing concern over the disrupted law and order in the village especially regarding the phishing scams. In the midst of all the chaos, a novice cop Dolly Singh gets stationed at Jamtara from the headquarters, to oversee that such cases reduce in number.

As she is also an IAS officer, she gets assigned the task to put an end to it all. But things take a huge turn when she realizes that the task isn’t nearly as easy as it seems in fact, it only gets more complicated.

As things go corrupted politics and lawful policies always find a way to clash and make things worse. Similarly, the local politician Brajesh Bhaan mulls over the issue, and decides that he would let the boys continue their filthy work, but of course, at a cost.

And the cost would be the payment yes, the boys will have to give a part of their stakes to him, instead of keeping their undercover wrongdoings protected. Not only this, but Brajesh Bhaan also recruits Rocky into his wing, with the hopes of making him an acclaimed politician as well.

But things start to look nasty among the boys, the sole reason being that Rocky’s cousin Sunny, who also belongs to the group, despises Brajesh to the core. With wanting nothing to do with him or letting him pull the strings at all, his brother entering his shelter and fulfilling his ulterior motives would probably be the last thing he would want to tolerate. And naturally, it creates a rift between the boys.

And the rift is here to stay it does not get resolved whatsoever. It stays within the group throughout the season, and eventually, we see Sunny getting married to a girl named Gudiya, who is also from Jamtara.

Gudiya tries to utilize her own resources to help her husband through, to earn those bucks. She is a teacher, at a coaching centre where she teaches English to young students. Clever as she was, she uses her students instead to conduct the phishing calls on behalf of the gang.

Jamtara: Sabka Number Ayega – The Ending Explained

By the time we reach the final few minutes in Stream Jamtara all episodes of the series, we see that Brajesh Bhaan holds Sunny captive. However, a way must be found to free him from his clutches and sometimes, desperate times call for desperate measures.

Thus, Gudiya decides to seek Dolly’s help to help Sunny break free from it all. And Dolly, on the other hand quite to everyone’s surprise, happily agrees to do so. Now here’s the catch, of course, she had a plan a strategy through which she wanted to achieve her goals and get to the root of this case.

In other words, out Brajesh Bhaan and his nasty, corrupted schemes. She finds this as a golden opportunity to get all the inside scoop onto Brajesh Bhaan’s wrongdoings, compelling her to take up the offer to ultimately put him behind bars as she’d been wanting since the beginning of the series.

First things first, she places a camera, quite strategically hidden in Gudiya’s purse, and sends her to Brajesh’s house to retrieve Sunny or rather, negotiate on the conditions of freeing him. Meanwhile, she and her men wait outside Brajesh’s house to catch the tycoons in the event of an escape.

As soon as Gidiya reaches Brajesh’s place, he starts to make morbid comments on her looks and body, trying to anger Sunny. He even expresses his desire to spend the night with her and implies that Gudiya must know that’s the price she has to pay to free Sunny out.

Dolly’s whole plan was to somehow catch Brajesh trying to force himself upon Gudiya in the camera so that the former gets arrested. In the end, we see that Dolly and her men barge into the house and arrest Brajesh, once and for all.

Is Sunny Actually Dead?

Well, this is a question which the only season 2 can answer as indicated by the ending of season 1. Season 1 basically ended on a cliff hanger Sunny got shot, but no one knows what happens next.

This does rule out a possibility of him eventually recovering from the bullet and grabbing his shot at life back, however, nothing’s for sure. For as much as we know, technically, it could also be possible that he might be gone for good since the wound seemed pretty serious.

Moreover, another major plot point that remains unexplored is the fact that Brajesh’s gang of goons are always vigilant and on their heels. It’s not possible that Sunny got shot and collapsed then and there without them following up on the situation.

If you recall, even Gudiya stopped running, shocked to see what exactly happened. So what if the bullet really wasn’t that fatal, and he was still alive enough to make it through will the goons let it happen, if at all?

And even if they don’t, is there a way Sunny still manages to escape? This is another possibility that can only be confirmed by another season since this one left a lot of questions unanswered.

Also, another major aspect of the plot that forks questions out is the Dolly and Brajesh scenario. We know that Dolly managed to arrest him to throw him behind bars, but what we don’t know is if that will bring the fruits that she has been expecting or not.

Truth be told, Dolly does not have enough proof to charge him for something major and sentence him to a hefty amount of prison time.

She did get her hands on a few documents and phones though but take not, she did so without a warrant basically, she broke into his house illegally, hunted through his stuff, and brought out a few morsels of proof. So where does that make her stand in the whole scenario? This will get revealed in the Jamtara final episode.

Apart from the sting operation, she legit has nothing on her to prove that Brajesh is guilty enough. So will she manage to frame or gather enough proof to make Brajesh bite the dust? All these questions are something only Jamtara season 2 can answer.

Jamtara Season 2, according to our best guess, is probably on the cards. Jamtara Season 1 premiered back on January 10, earlier this year. Plus, in no way did it seem to be a mere tv series, as a matter of fact.
