It’s Rumor Time: Will Rosario Dawson play Ahsoka Tano in season 2 of The Mandalorian?

Ahsoka Tano may very well be coming to The Mandalorian, based on new stories. Per SlashFilm, the Disney+ Star Wars collection just lately forged Rosario Dawson to look because the beloved Jedi Padawan. This would be the first live-action look of the favored apprentice, who has solely appeared in The Clone Wars and Star Wars: Rebels. The outlet confirmed the casting with “two impartial sources,” although Disney+, Dawson, and Mandalorian execs have but to publicly confirmed the casting.

Followers have campaigned dutifully for this casting since 2017, when Dawson expressed curiosity in taking part in the position on Twitter. The character has garnered a serious fan following because of her appearances in comedians, video video games and a devoted novel. Whereas its unclear as to how Ahsoka particularly suits into The Mandalarian’s story, the concept of author and director Dave Filoni bringing the character that he co-created into this realm isn’t completely unlikely.

Disney confirmed again in February that The Mandalorian will return this October. Time will inform if that date should shift with all manufacturing halted. We’ll preserve our eyes large open for any new developments.
