Jason Bateman hailed his career during the 1980s with multiple successful films and growing fame, he bags a lot of roles that recognized his acting skills. He grew up in our eyes on the big screen and small screen, we watched his transition from a teenage star to a veteran actor. After he was featured in some films, piles of offers found their way to Bateman for his outstanding acting skills and charm in front of the camera. Here are the best Jason Bateman moviesto be crazy for.

The Family Fang

The Family Fang Official Trailer #1 (2016) - Nicole Kidman, Jason Bateman Movie HD

The family Fang is based on the book written by Kelvin Wilson with the same name. In this film, Jason Bateman does not only play a character in this film alongside Nicole Kidman but it is also his sophomore directorial feature. They paired up as an adult pair of siblings raised quite unconventionally by two free-wielding performance artist parents who discover their parents have mysteriously vanished. However, they are uncertain whether this is just another trick or whether anything more sinister is taking place. The Family Fang was another example of Bateman's maturing abilities as an actor and filmmaker, and a dramedy that prepared the way for his even more ambitious directing endeavors with Netflix's Ozark and HBO's The Outsider.

Game Night

GAME NIGHT - Official Trailer

Game Night is one of the unexpected films that Jason Batman did because we all know that making people laugh is such a handful if you can't grasp it well. Unexpectedly, this 2010 film had its own way to make people laugh, it is by Jason Bateman and Rachel McAdams who played the role of his wife, the oozing chemistry of the two made us laugh, and enjoy this movie even more.

Nowadays, few films have the ability to knock the house down, but one notable exception is 2018's shockingly intelligent and extremely entertaining Game Night. The humorous thriller (or exciting comedy) co-starring Rachel McAdams incorporates aspects of mystery and tension into the lighter proceedings but unexpectedly does not tip the scales. Rather than that, this delicate blend of dark humor and violent intensity increases the tension in a stylish, sophisticated manner, while the multi-talented performers provide regular comic relief. It's a difficult scale to maintain equilibrium on, but when it works, it works. And Game Night is an unqualified success.

Up In The Air

Up in the Air (2009) Trailer #1 | Movieclips Classic Trailers

Up In The Air starring George Clooney, is one of the few that successfully combines the genres of humor and drama. Additionally, it is one of those films that shines an especially harsh light on the vacuous emptiness that pervades much corporate culture. The fact that Bateman portrays a guy named Craig who is the owner of a firm called Career Transition Counseling reveals everything about his character and the film as a whole. Despite Bateman's small role, he showed us something wonderful that puts the spotlight on him, and some may even say that he stole the show and captivated the audience's hearts. That's the charm of Jason Bateman, way to go!

The Gift

The Gift Official Trailer #1 (2015) - Jason Bateman Psychological Thriller HD

You can not simply box Jason Bateman in one genre. We know him for his undeniably fun comedies but in this film, we see a Jason Bateman we have never known before. If it is Jason Bateman, there is no doubt that he will be perfect and true in the role that he portrays. His effortless shift from comedy to drama is already an amazing feat to have but shifting to comedy to horror and thriller is just a Jason Bateman thing to do, his versatility is superb.

In this heart-stopping film, Bateman portrays Simon, a regular married guy who stumbles across Gordo, an old acquaintance whom he hasn't seen in years. Simon's life begins to disintegrate as they cross paths, and when his wife hears what transpired between Simon and Gordo, she begins to doubt their whole relationship. The Gift is a tense, suspenseful thriller about a mild-mannered man who receives a long-overdue payback, and Bateman is ideal for the part.

Zootopia

Zootopia Official US Trailer #2

You will never expect this film on this list but we made it happen. Delivering lines especially for an actor or actress is an easy-peasy. But delivering lines without seeing your expression is much harder than you thought. In this film, Bateman voiced o fox character and made it alive in our heads.

Bateman has delivered a number of outstanding live-action performances, but one of his best is as a sly fox in Zootopia, who is attempting to prove that he is more than the stereotypical fox. Nick, played by Bateman, links up with a brave officer to expose a plot at the heart of the supposedly utopian society in which they both dwell. Zootopia has some lofty ambitions, but those ambitions are largely realized thanks to Bateman's acerbic presence at the film's center.

He's witty, wry, and possesses a heart, albeit one that is obscured by layers of sarcasm.

Conclusion

There is no doubt that a lot of people are crazy over Jason Bateman from his charismatic appeal, outstanding acting skills, and his personality. Bateman never fails to make his character fun, true, and alive. You can't just simply put him in comedy because he has a lot of things to prove and we are more than willing to see it. For now, these are the Jason Bateman moviesthat will make you go crazy over him.
