‘Marvelous Mrs. Maisel’s Rachel Brosnahan Set To Star With Anthony Ramos In ‘Distant’ For Amblin
EXCLUSIVE: Two time Golden Globe-winning Marvelous Mrs Maisel and Home of Playing cards star Rachel Brosnahan has been set to hitch In The Heights‘ Anthony Ramos in Amblin Companions’ upcoming comedic sci-fi movie Distant.Will Speck and Josh Gordon (Blades of Glory, Workplace Christmas Social gathering) are directing the Spenser Cohen-penned spec script with manufacturing to start subsequent month.
Distant tells the story of an asteroid miner who, after crash-landing on an alien planet, should deal with the challenges of his new environment, whereas making his approach throughout the tough terrain to the one different survivor – a lady who’s trapped in her escape pod.
Brian Kavanaugh-Jones (Midnight Particular), Fred Berger (La La Land), and Anna Halberg (Extinction) will produce.Speck and Gordon may also function government producers, together with Jonathan Rothbart and Matt Hirsch. Kevin Vafi will co-produce. Amblin Associate’s Co-President of Manufacturing Jeb Brody will oversee the movie with artistic exec John Buderwitz.
Brosnahan is represented by CAA, Brillstein Leisure Companions and Schreck Rose.
