Michael Ellenberg’s Media Res Launches Physical Production Department With Three Hires
EXCLUSIVE: Michael Ellenberg’s Media Res is constructing a physical manufacturing executive group as the indie studio portfolio has expanded to add multiple string at Apple TV+. Former Fremantle manufacturing exec Reid Shane has been tapped to head the section, with HBO/ABC/MRC alum Tammy Ann Casper as thoughts of Post Production and Amazon’s Marro Park as new VP of Production Finance.
Shane will oversee most of physiological creation for Media Res, which is gearing up to begin filming Season two of The Morning Show, starring Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon, for Apple TV+. The business has three forthcoming string for Apple TV+, Life Undercover, starring and executive created by Brie Larson, Pachinko, according to the global bestseller, in addition to the just-announced Scott Z. Burns climate shift restricted series, which will be nearing a series pickup in the streamer.

before joining Media Res, Shane served as EVP Generation at Fremantle where he mimicked Season two of Starz’s American infantry. Shane began at Roger Corman’s New Horizons Studios and Propaganda Films, working with gift such as Alexander Payne, David Lynch, David Fincher, and John Singleton. Then he moved to Paramount as EVP of Generation, in which he supervised network displays for example Frasier, multiple string from the Star Trek franchise and NCIS. Casper most recently served as article manufacturer on the HBO series Lovecraft Nation . Before that, she was SVP of Television Post Production at MRC, in which she oversaw post production to the Netflix series Ozark, and Starz series Counterpart. She spent 12 seasons on Shonda Rhimes’ Grey’s Anatomy and eight seasons on David E. Kelley’s The Exercise.
Park has been a part of Amazon Studio’s Generation Finance group, overseeing shows such as Transparent, Mozart in the Jungle and Modern Love, along with forthcoming titles for example Upload, The Wilds and Utopia.
