Every Miner Loves The NVIDIA RTX 3080 And 3080 Ti Mining Hashrate

The GeForce RTX 3080 Ti and RTX 3080 graphics cards deliver the extreme performance that gamers demand, courtesy of NVIDIA's RTX architecture's second generation, Ampere. They incorporate enhanced RT Cores and Tensor Cores, as well as new streaming multiprocessors and lightning-fast G6X memory, all of which contribute to an incredible gaming experience. Let's move over about the NVIDIA RTX 3080 and 3080 Ti mining hashrate.

A cryptocurrency miner has confirmed that Nvidia's GeForce RTX 3080 Ti's hash rate limiter works as intended. Additionally, hash rates appear to be significantly lower for altcoins such as Ethereum Classic, Ergo, and RavenCoin.

Nvidia's initial attempt to dissuade miners from utilizing its hardware was a colossal failure. However, it appears to have absorbed some of the ordeal's lessons. The Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 Ti's hash rate limiter is operating as intended. The card appears to have been put to the testby a miner; the results were quite refreshing.

At stock speeds, the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti hash rate on Ethereum is around 57 MH/s. This is nearly half of the RTX 3090's 120 MH/s bandwidth. Even the entry-level GeForce RTX 3080 can mine at approximately 85 MH/s. The miner also attempted to use the Nvidia drivers that enabled the RTX 3060's hash rate limiter to be unlocked, but this attempt failed as well. This is unsurprising, given that the RTX 3080 Ti is based on a brand-new GPU that was not available at the time. However, Nvidia's efforts are pointless at the moment as Ethereum is about to transition to a proof-of-stake model. At the very least, gamers will benefit from an influx of used hardware.

Surprisingly, the hash rate limiter on the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti also applies to a few lesser-known altcoins, including Ethereum Classic, Ergo, and RavenCoin. As of now, the only cryptocurrency that has remained unaffected is ConFlux. Regrettably, there is no way to determine whether the miner in question used any known workarounds. Thus, on the surface, it appears as though Nvidia's hash rate limiter is impenetrable this time around. It remains to be seen whether or not this enables gamers to acquire additional graphics cards.

Conclusion

Thus, what is the monetary value of the NVIDIA RTX 3080 and 3080 Ti mining hashrate that every miner loves? According to NiceHash, which analyzes actual mining data from connected mining rigs, you can expect to earn around $7 per day. This is based on a $0.10 per kWh electricity charge and may be inaccurate given recent cryptocurrency prices.

You should budget around $6 per day once the motherboard, processor, RAM, and storage are all operational. This results in a $42 weekly profit and a $168 monthly profit. As if that weren't enough, these figures equate to approximately $2,016 per year.
