Get A Higher Ether Mining Efficiency With The Nvidia Rtx A2000 12GB Mining Hashrate


NVIDIA's Ampere graphics cards, such as the NVIDIA RTX A2000 12GB mining hashrate, are well-known for their mining speed due to the larger memory bus and use of GDDR6X memory. In comparison to their Radeon counterparts, the GeForce RTX 3080 and 3090 offer 2-3 times the hash rate in Ether and Conflux. On the other hand, these devices' energy efficiency leaves a lot to be desired. AMD's Radeon RX 6600 series performs brilliantly in this test, despite its modest hash rate of approximately 30 MH/s in Ethereum.

Indeed, the RTX A2000 is the smallest workstation GPU and hence a direct competitor for mining applications to the Radeon RX 6600. According to Dizzy Mining's studies, the A2000 is even more efficient than the RX 6600, with a hash rate of 41 MH/s and a power demand of 66W.

The RTX A2000 is based on the GA106 core found in the RTX 3060. It features 3,328 cores and 6GB of GDDR6 memory linked via a 192-bit bus. Additionally, it contains 104 tensor cores and 26 RT cores.

The CPU was overclocked by 100 MHz and the RAM by 1,500 MHz, which is rather exceptional for a PNY workstation card of this type. To boost the fan speed, the power slider was set to 95% and the fan speed increased to 100%.

When the RTX A2000 was introduced in December 2021, it carried a retail price of $649.99. Due to the additional wait of a few months for the Ethereum 2.0 version, supply is projected to remain limited.
