Rohit Shetty to release one more Cop movie, Registers the title Aaya Police

Filmmaker Rohit Shetty, who’s working on Sooryavanshi that stars Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif in lead roles, allegedly plans to create still another cop film, and it has enrolled Aaya Police as the title.

In case a report in Deccan Chronicle is not anything to go by, Rohit could be planning an epic crossover – Aaya Police – which will bring together Bajirao Singham (Ajay Devgn), Sangram Bhalerao aka Simmba (Ranveer Singh) and Veer Sooryavanshi (Akshay Kumar).

Citing sources in the Indian Motion Picture Producers Association (IMPPA), a Deccan Chronicle report asserted Rohit enrolled the name a week beneath his production home, Rohit Shetty Picturez LLP. According to one source, “There was this song in Simmba called Aala Re Aala which has the line ‘ae aaya police’. Deepika Padukone was also seen saying that and cheering for Ranveer Singh in the film, and it had gone viral. Rohit thought it is a pretty good name for a movie and has registered the title.”

He’s also said he would like to make a movie on a female cop.“We are trying to create a world of our own and we have been open about it. It will only grow (with time). There will be female cops as well in my universe,”  he explained later.

Together with his final excursion, Simbaa, starring Ranveer Singh, Rohit currently has eight Rs 100 crore movies to his credit. Although his movies are largely panned by critics, the crowds constantly lap up them with much love, which makes them blockbuster at the box office.
