The plot of the movie follows Ayushmann Khurrana playing the character of Kartik Singh, a Delhi boy who is in love with Aman Tripathi played by Jitendra Kumar. This is a gay rom-com that has been directed by Hitesh Kewalya. Aman has a very conservative family who comes from Allahabad. His father Shankar is an agriculture scientist and he happened to grow black cauliflowers that are worm resistant. On the other hand, his mother Sunaina is a simple homemaker.
To increase the dose of drama, Aman lives in a joint family with his uncle Chaman, aunt Champa and cousin Rajni. Coming to Kartik’s family, they are never shown in the film. However, we do get to hear about them a lot throughout the movie. Aman was invited for Goggle’s wedding where Kartik tags along with him on the train journey. Kartik tells Aman that they will pretend to be just friends in front of everyone. But things didn’t go as planned as they got caught making out in the train by Aman’s father.
