The Sun Valley Film Festival and Ford, a three-time spouse of this five-day occasion, have declared that the Ford Pitch Fest, a brand new initiative where manufacturers will have an opportunity to pitch their job to obtain a $25,000 manufacturers grant.

Three finalists will be chosen to be given a one-on-one prep session with a specialist pitch trainer, a filmmaker pass into the festival, media opportunities, a roundtrip flight from Los Angeles and 2 nights of accommodation with the chance to pitch their job to a panel of manufacturers facing an audience throughout the festival. Hosted by Will McCormack, this year’s panelists include Effie T. Brown (“Dear White People”), Jim Burke (“Green Book”), Heather Rae (“Bull and Frozen River”), along with Lionsgate vice chairman Michael Burns. Submissions are now being accepted from manufacturers with a job in development. Applicants may submit through Film Freeway and Submittable. Those interested can navigate the submissions deadlines and requirements through the festival site.

In their continuing venture, Ford’s head of International Branded Entertainment Al Uzielli stated in a statement:”We’re eager to continue our support of the Sun Valley Film Festival for its next year. Our partnership with the amusement sector dates back to the Model T and contrasts perfectly with all the festival’s service and nurturing of up and coming filmmakers. In the same way, Ford has had strong connections to the Sun Valley community dating back to the first days as a ski hotel. We’re sure that Ford Pitch Fest will turn into among the festival’s most must-attend events and it is going to engage a new generation of creative and talented producers.”

Moreover, Ford will even host a themed street party as part of this festival entitled”Main St. Salutes a Legend” in celebration of the return of this Legendary Bronco. Together with a string of vintage Broncos from every decade, the festivity will even feature a costume contest.

A Screenwriters Laboratory, presented in partnership with Variety, are also hosted with the festival in addition to other different occasions like Coffee Talks, Salon Talks, the Film Lab, Wild into Inspire contests, and coordinating opportunities for attending filmmakers.

The ninth annual Sun Valley Film Festival will take place March 18-22.
