Supreme Court confirms Kim Chang Hwan and Moon Young Il’s sentences for The East Light abuse controversy
The Korean Supreme Courtroom has confirmed Media Line Leisure CEO Kim Chang Hwan
On March 26, the Supreme Courtroom confirmed Kim Chang Hwan’s sentence of eight months in jail, which was suspended for two years of probation, for aiding and abetting youngster abuse in addition to Moon Younger Il’s sentence of 1 yr and four months in jail. Moon Younger Il has been charged with recurring youngster abuse in opposition to former The East Gentle members Lee Seok Cheol and Lee Seung Hyun.
As beforehand reported, the Media Line Leisure CEO Kim Chang Hwan was sentenced to eight months in jail suspended for two years of probation and 40 hours of training for aiding and abetting youngster abuse, whereas former PD Moon Younger Il of Media Line Leisure was sentenced to 2 years in jail in addition to 80 hours of training for youngster abuse in opposition to former The East Gentle members Lee Seok Cheol and Lee Seung Hyun. Although each side appealed the sentencing in December of 2019, the court docket dismissed each appeals.
Each side have submitted their all permitted appeals, confirming the ultimate sentencing.
