Tartikoff Honorees Call for Commitment to Diversity and Safety of Press Freedom
MIAMI — Jeff Zucker did not mince words.
“Nothing is as important than what I am doing today,” the CNN Worldwide leader said of his lengthy career in media since he had been feted Wednesday night as among five Brandon Tartikoff Award honorees.

Zucker and Burke shared memories of working together with the award’s namesake and the effect he had on their own lives. Zucker remembered Tartikoff’s”pure kindness” following the former has been diagnosed with cancer in the time of age 31.
