In clip posted to the Australian Open’s Twitter, a journalist requested 26-year old Tomljanović, who’d only advanced to the next round of this championship, the way it felt to perform with the slam as a”fiancée” — a phrase she cried with.

“Fiancée…what type of word that? I believe,’fidanzata’ is in Italian that signifies girlfriendbut in English it means fiancé and I am not his fiancé,” she said, after giggling and rolling rolling her eyes out.

If the journalist asked if he needs to consult with her as”a girlfriend,” Tomljanović responded:”I figure. Ajla would be fantastic also.”
