The US, Russia, and China remain the world’s strongest nations even as some other nations have seen their ranks fall, based on this year’s international power positions.

The positions, published by US News and World Report, examine the way the impact of a country, in addition to its political, economical, and military power. The positions are a part of its annual “Best Countries” study, which assesses 80 states based on feedback from 21,000 people.
