This is the directorial debut of Deutch’s mother, Lea Thompson. Zoey Deutch is one of the producers of this film alongside her sister, Madelyn Deutch and they are also the characters of this film. This movie is about the story of Izzy Klein (Madelyn Deutch) who is fresh out of college as she begins to play with several relationships with men and destroys them. She struggles to handle all her failures during her post-college adulthood while seeking and leaning support on her mother (Lea Thompson) and her younger sister (Zoey Deutch).
