There are very few Western Crime Drama web series that has awarded as the most excellent show in the history of television or most awarded tv show. Breaking Bad is one such American Criminal Drama series created by Vince Gilligan. Released in 2008, the series is consists of five seasons. It revolves around a depressed, unemployed chemistry teacher Walter White and his former student Jesse Pinkman, who enters the world of crimes by producing drugs: crystallized methamphetamine, to secure their’s and family’s future. Walter, who has diagnosed with stage 3 cancer, decides to leave his job and make drugs with his student Jesse, but things don’t work out the way they wanted it.
The series focusses on the transformation of Walter from a simple middle-class man to a kingpin in Drug Dealing. Every season of the Breaking Bad series has lots of excitement, emotions, and a thriller plot. Season Overview: Walter, a 50-year old chemistry teacher, learns that he has stage three terminal cancer and only two years to survive. His wife, Skyler, is pregnant with his second child, and to secure his family’s future, he decides to enter the world of Drug Dealing. He left his second job of car washing and associates with his former student Jesse to make drugs: crystallized methamphetamine in their secret RV. From his connection, Jesse found their first drug dealer and meet him to sell him their drug. The drug dealer Emilio and his cousin Krazy-8, double-cross Walter and Jesse by snatching all the drug from Jesse and ask him to show their lab (secret RV). Walter causes an explosion in which Emilio dies, but Krazy-8 survives. Jesse dissolves Emilio’s body in hydrofluoric acid as instructed by Walter but forgets to use a plastic bin, leaving a big mess for Walter. After having a conversation with Krazy-8, Walter decides not to kill him, which makes Jesse upset, but later, when Krazy-8 attacks on Walter, he kills Krazy-8.
Skyler got suspicious about Walter’s strange behavior, and their son Jr. Walter try marijuana on which Marie ask Hank to threaten him. Hank is looking for a new drug kingpin in the town, but he is unaware of the fact that he is none other than Walter. Walter confesses to his wife, son, Marie, and Hank that he has cancer, and they all try to convince him for Chemo treatment, on which he first refuses but later agrees. Jesse visits his parent’s house, where he learns that his brother is taking drugs, but to save him, he takes the blame on himself and leaves the house. He tries to make the same drug alone but unable to match Walter’s quality. Walter’s colleague Elliott Schwartz offers money and job to him to support him, but he refuses and again joins Jesse. He told Skyler that he is using Elliott’s money for therapy, but actually, he is using the drug-dealing profits for it.
Jesse finds another drug dealer Tuco who replaced Krazy-8, and when Jesse meets him for the dealing, he snatches all the drug from him and beats him. To avenge it, Walter explodes Tuco’s office, which impresses him, and he asks Walter to do business on a mass level. Jesse and Walter decide to make more drugs to complete Tuco’s order, but they lack a major amount of methylamine. They break into the warehouse to steal it and start completing Tuco’s first order. Meanwhile, Skyler reaches to the jewelry store to sell the diamond Tiara that Marie gave her on baby shower and learns that it was stolen. She somehow manages to escape from there and confronts Marie. On the other side, Tuco gets highly impressed with the quality of Walter’s drug, and when one of his men insults Walter, he beats him badly, which shocks Jesse and Walter. It will be interesting to see how they will deal with Tuco and what other challenges are waiting for them on this path. More excitement with thrill is coming in Season 2.

Season Overview:Season 2 begins where Season 1 ended. Tuco beats his man No-doze so much that he died. Jesse and Walter are shocked by his violent tendency, and to get rid of him, Jesse suggests to shoot him. But Walter decides to poison him so no one can trace them. But Tuco kidnaps Jesse and Walter as Hank is investigating about Tuco and take them to his uncle’s house (who used to be a drug lord but now confined to the wheelchair after the stroke). He wants to take them to Mexico where they can cook drugs for him 2487. Walter tries to poison Tuco but interrupted by his uncle. Tuco attacks on Jesse, and somehow they manage to escape.
Meanwhile, Skyler is worried about the disappearance of Walter and Hank searches for him. He tracks Jesse and reaches to Tuco’s location. In a standoff with Tuco, Hank kills him in self-defense. To cover their disappearance, Walter fakes Amnesia and admits in the hospital while Jesse is left with no money and place to live, spends his night in his RV. Hank is promoted for his work, but he gets panic attacks after Tuco’s encounter. From his left money, Jesse rent a duplex apartment and get attracted to her landlord Jane (a former drug addict who came back from rehab).
Skyler is worried about Walter’s suspicious behavior and starts smoking. One day she gets a call from Walter’s friend Gretchen Schwartz, and she thanks her to pay for Walter’s medical bills. Gretchen learns about Walter’s lie but doesn’t reveal it to Skyler and tells her that they won’t be able to help Walter anymore. Walter lies to Skyler that Gretchen and her husband are broke due to loss in business, and to support the financial crisis, Skyler joins her former boss (also start relying on him for emotional support).
Walter and Jesse resume their drug production and take Tuco’s role to distribute drugs to the sellers. Meanwhile, their rival gang is killed by the DEA agent, and they arrest Jesse’s friend Badger. To clean the mess and protect themselves from the law, Jesse and Walter hire a criminal attorney Saul Goodman. Saul introduces them to a new drug lord Gus Fring. Meanwhile, Jesse starts taking drugs and involves Jane in the same. Gus asks for immediate drug delivery, but Jesse is high on drugs, and thus Walter has to steal drugs from Jesse and carry out the delivery on his own, due to which he missed his wife’s delivery. When Jesse learns about the delivery, he asks Walter to give him his share. But Walter asks him to get sober first and only then he will give him his share. Jane learns about it and blackmails Walter on the phone to provide Jesse with’s share.
DEA agents learn that someone is smuggling blue meth in the market with the name Heisenberg (who is none other than the Walter). Jane’s father learns about her heroin intake and asks her to clear her affairs before returning to rehab again. Coincidentally, Walter meets Jane’s father in the same bar, and after having an emotional conversation with him, Walter visits Jesse’s apartment to sort out the things. There he finds Jesse and Jane passed out from a high dose of the drug and witness Jane vomiting and choking. Though he can help her if he wants, he chose to stand there, and she dies. The next morning when Jesse finds out Jane dead, he blames himself for it.
Walter admits Jesse in the rehab and learns that his cancer is improving. Meanwhile, Saul learns about Walter’s cancer and the website his son made to collect money for his father’s treatment. Saul uses that website to transfer Walter’s funds. During his surgery, due to Anaesthesia’s effects, Walter confesses to Skyler about his second phone. She learns about all his lies and leaves him. After she leaves home, Walter witness an explosion in the sky. The explosion happens because of Jane’s father, who is an air traffic controller and gets distracted from his daughter’s memories, resulting in the collision of two planes.

Season Overview:Season 3 begins with some tension between Walter and Skyler after he confesses about his business to Skyler. Skyler decides to give a divorce to Walter and move into a new apartment with her children. Walter tries to convince her that he has done all this for the sake of his family, but Skyer doesn’t want him in her life. Walter informs the Gus that he is leaving this profession and won’t cook meth anymore. Gus gives him a handsome offer, which he refuses. Even after Skyler’s reluctance, he comes to live in her home. While Jr. Walter is the thrill to see his dad back, Skyler wants him out of her house and call the cops. Jesse completes his rehab and asks Saul to help him to buy his parent’s house. Saul tries to convince Walter that he should again get into the business of meth, but he refuses. Meanwhile, Tuco’s cousins arrive in the town to avenge Tuco’s death and search for Heisenberg.
Gus arranges the meeting with Tuco’s cousins and asks them to leave Heisenberg alone as he works for Gus. He also tells them that Hank is responsible for Tuco’s death and not Heisenberg. Walter leaves a bag of money for Skyler and asks her to use that money. But she keeps on cheating on him with her boss and later confesses about it to Walter. Jesse is out of money and thus starts producing meth on his own. He gives meth to the cashier in exchange for Gas. Jesse also sells his meth to Gus, which he takes and gives only half of the money to the Jesse and the rest to the Walter (so that he can hurt his pride and he again start cooking meth). Jesse gets angry about receiving half payment, and after refusing multiple times, Walter finally decides to cook meth again when Rus offers him a high-tech lab.
Rus appoint his assistant Gale to work with Walter in the new lab. Hank is obsessed with Heisenberg’s case and starts his investigation again when he learns about the RV that Jesse and Combo bought. He somehow reaches to Jesse and beats him. Jesse warns Hank that he will take action against him and ask Walter to keep Hank away from it. Walter convinces Rus to replace Gale with Jesse. DEA suspends Hank for attacking Jesse, and the cousins attack Hank to avenge Tuco’s death. After a serious standoff, Hank manages to kill one cousin while injuring the other but gets shot multiple times in the leg.
Hank becomes paralyzed due to multiple shots in the leg, and Skyler comes up with Walter’s money to pay for Hank’s hospital bills. Gus visits Hank in the Hospital, and Walter learns that Rus is aware that Hank is his brother-in-law. He also learns that he was the target of cousins, and Gus saved him. Walter and Jesse start cooking meth in the high tech lab, but Jesse manages to steal some amount of meth to sell on his own with the help of Badger and Skinny Pete. Unaware of this fact, Walter starts worrying as he thinks that his formula is incorrect, and that is why they are not able to produce the required amount of meth per day. To keep him busy, Jesse starts mixing sedatives in his coffee. Unhappy with Badger and Skinny’s lower sales, Jesse takes the help of his new mate, Andrea.
Jesse learns that the drug dealers who killed his friend are now using Andrea’s 11-year-old brother to peddle drugs. He decides to kill those drug dealers to avenge his friend’s death and to save Andrea’s brother. Walter warns him not to do so as those drug dealers are Gus’s men. But Jesse refuses and attacks them. To save Jesse, Walter interferes and kills those drug dealers. Gus gets angry when he learns about Walter’s involvement in the killing and warns him. Jesse runs away, and Gus again appoints Gale to learn cooking meth with Walter. Meanwhile, Skyler gets more involve in Walter’s business and advice Saul on how to make his illegal money legal. Walter understands that Gus wants to kill him once Gale will learn the procedure and ask Jesse to kill innocent Gale, which he refused.
Before Walter can do something, Gus’s men Mike and Victor abducts him. But he orders Jesse on call to kill Gale, so only he left to cook the meth for Gus, and thus Gus won’t kill him. Before Victor could reach to save Gale, Jesse reaches to Gale’s house. After some hesitation, he pulls his gun while Gale pleads, and shoot.
Is Gale Dead? What will happen to Walter and Jesse now? Will Gus kill them or offer them another Deal? All these questions will be answered in Season 4 of Breaking Bad.

Season Overview: After murdering Gale, Walter and Jesse abducted by Gus’s men. When Gus arrives, he witnesses Victor cooking meth, so he kills him and asks Walter and Jesse to begin the cooking again. To keep himself safe from Gus, Walt illegally buys a revolver while Jesse feels guilty about Gale’s murder and indulges himself in drugs and parties. From Gale’s murder investigation, Hank learns that Gale was cooking meth, and Gus is involved with him. Skyler tries to convince the car wash owner to purchase it, but he refuses to sell. Walter tries to convince Mike that he is also in danger, and to save all, he should help Walter to kill Gus, on which Mike gets angry and beats him.
After Mike refuses Walter’s offer, Walter approaches Jesse and ask him to poison Gus with the ricin capsule that he hides in his cigarette. But Jesse hesitates to kill Gus and instead proves his loyalty to Mike. Hank informs Walter that Gale was cooking meth for Gus. Hank interrogates Gus and wants Walter to put a tracking device on Gus’s car. Gus visits his rival, Hector. From Hank’s investigation, DEA reaches to Gus’s warehouse, but Jesse cleans the site and saves Gus. Mike takes Jesse with him for collection. Jesse, Mike, and Gus fled to Mexico to meet another drug kingpin Don Eladio and shoots his whole gang, including Eladio. Gus finds another vendor and asks Jesse to cook meth alone. Jesse cooks meth for Gus, and Walter fights with him over their trust issues. Andrea’s son gets admitted to the hospital after a strange ill-sickness and informs Jesse. Jesse learns that sickness is caused by Ricin capsule and confronts Walter as he suspects Walter did this.
Walter convinces Jesse that Gus did this poisoning, and Jesse agrees to kill Gus. Skyler somehow convinces the carwash owner and purchase the car wash. She asks Walter to move with them to the house. Gus tries to kill Hank to stop the investigation and threatens Walter that his family will be killed if this continues. DEA gives protection to the whole family. Walter places a bomb in Gus’s car to kill him, but somehow he survives. Gus’s men abduct Jesse and Walter approaches Hector for help. Walter knows that Hector hates Gus and asks him to kill Gus by being a suicide bomb. When Gus visits Hector, Hector detonates the bomb, killing himself and Gus. Later, Jesse learns that Andrea’s son got sick due to berries from the lily of the valley and not due to ricin. Walter somehow convinces him that Gus had to die. Later he calls Skyler and declares that he won.
The end scene of Season 4 shows the plant of Lily of the Valley that was used to cause sickness in Andrea’s son by Walter so that he can regain Jesse’s trust.

Season Overview:The final season begins with a flashforward where rugged, bearded Walter is hiding his identity and living at a mysterious place. In the present, after Gus’s and Hector’s death, DEA agents are actively investigating the case, and Jesse, Walter, and Mike try to destroy all the shreds of evidence that might incriminate them. To cover up for the losses (the money that Skyler gave to Ted), Walter again starts cooking meth with Jesse and Mike. A Madrigal executive Lydia hires a shooter to kill all the links that can tie her to Gus, including Mike, but Mike somehow confronted her and ask her to help Jesse and Walter to sell the meth.
Walter confesses to Skyler that he is again cooking meth, and she afraid about her family’s safety. The flow of Methylamine (the major component of the drug) disrupts, and Lydia advises them to heist a train containing methylamine. Walter assigns Todd for this heist who mercilessly killed a young boy, witnessed the heist. After cooking Meth, they sell it to Declan to give Mike’s shares. Jesse and Mike want to leave this drug business, and thus Walter replaces Todd as his new assistant.
DEA agent tracks Mike, and Walter learns that there are ten people in the jail, associated with Gus who might provide information to Police in return for their freedom. Walter asks Mike to provide their information, which he refuses, so Walter kills him. Lydia provides him the required information, and with the help of Todd, he killed all those ten people. On Skyler’s demand, he decided to leave this business and held the dinner at his home. Hank found some Leaves of Grass in Walter’s bathroom, inscribed with “W.W by G.B.” He then remembers that he found the same note on Gale’s home after his death, and learns that W.W or Heisenberg is Walter himself.
He put a tracking device in Walter’s car, which Walter learns soon and confronts Hank. Hank asks her to confess the truth and also reaches to Skyler, but she refuses to say anything. He interrogates Jesse, but he also refuses to admit anything. In a public meeting, Walter tries to negotiate with Hank, and when he doesn’t agree, he gave him a tape in which Walter snarls Hank as the mastermind of the drug business. Walter asks Jesse to leave the town on which he agrees, but later, he learns through Saul that Walter killed Brock. Raged Jesse pour Walter’s house with Gasoline, and when Walter learns about it, he leaves a message for Jesse to explain everything to him. Hank stops Jesse from torching Walter’s house, and Jesse agrees to cooperate with Hank.
Walt contacts Todd to negotiate a hit on Jesse, but his uncle asks him to cook meth for him, and only then will they help him. To find where Walter hides his money, Hank stages a photo, which made Walter believe that Jesse found his money and about to burn it. Walter panics and asks Todd and his uncle to save him. When Walter reaches to the location where he hides the money, Hank, Gomez, and Jesse encounter him. Todd and his uncle reach the location, and even when Walter asks them not to shoot, they start firing, which kills Gomez and shot Hank in the leg. Walter pleads to them to not kill Hank, but they shot him in the heart and bury the corpses there.
At Todd’s suggestion, they take Jesse as a hostage, and Walter confesses to Jesse that he watched Jane die in front of him. Skyler learns about Hank’s murder and attack with a knife on Walter. He escapes from the apartment as police were behind him.
Todd forces Jesse to teach him how to cook meth. Jesse tries to run away from there but caught. As a punishment, Todd murders Andrea in front of him. Walter watches interview of Gretchen and Elliott in which they lie that Walter is innocent. Walter meets them and gives them money to give it to Jr. Walter when he becomes 18 years old. Later, he meets Lydia and Todd, where he poisons Lydia’s stevia with ricin. To save Jesse, he meets Jack and kills all his men. Jesse kills Todd while Walter shot Jack. Walter asks Jesse to shoot him and informs Lydia about her stevia’s poisoning. Later Jesse escapes in Todd’s car, crying in joy and Walter one last time observe the meth lab and dies.
