Season Recap
Barry wakes up from a coma only to realize that he has supernatural powers. Soon, he comes face to face with another superhuman who was a product of the same testthat he was. The season proceeds people get to know that Barry is a metahuman, with the capability of replicating himself.
Iris and Eddie are dating and keeping it under covers from Joe. Various missions are undertaken by Fash and S.T.A.R Labs capturing Kyle Nimbus, stopping a robbery, and facing a new metahuman, Tony. The best highlight of this season is when Fash and Arrow come together as a team, to fight off a metahuman.
The one who killed Nora Allen is revealed and turns out that he is way more powerful than most. Captain Cold and Micky Rory return to town, planning to raid a million dollars. Captain Cold also sets a trap to capture Flash. A new nemesis, Rathaway is introduced who poses a threat to both Wells and The Flash, all whom The Flash has to fight.

Season 2 had an impending mystery of the identity of the evil speedster clad in a black suit: Zoom. It was revealed that the mentor of Barry and love interest of Caitlin was Zoom aka, Jay Garrick. He was know was Hunter Zolomon in Earth-2, and gulped a serum to go faster but in vain. When things went awry, he was compelled to steal speed from another speedster, and that’s how he targeted Barry.
Zoom gets taken away by Time Wraiths for messing up the timeline. Season 2 also take the audience on a tour of Earth 2 where they get to meet the doppelgangers of the main characters. Regardless, he endeavored to go a lot faster with the use of a serum that made him sick.
With his cells passing on and his speed clashing, Zolomon expected to take the speed from another speedster to recover and thusly he put his emphasis on Barry. Cisco was Reverb, Caitlin was Killer Frost, Barry was a geek married to Iris, and Joe is seen as a lounge singer.
Wally was invited to the West family by Iris, after their mother’s death. The Flash saves Wally’s life during a pump racing fiasco. Also, Wally and Jesse get injured by an accelerator particle blast. In the end, we see Barry travelling back in time on the day of his mom’s murder.

The most important concept that season 3 entails is of The Flashpoint. Barry went back in past and messed up the timeline by stopping The Reverse Flash from killing his mother. This resulted in a series of events Cisco resenting Barry for Dante’s death, as he did not fix the timeline.
Iris and Joe’s relationship gets strained after Iris learns that Joe kept her mother’s whereabouts a secret. And Caitlin, on the other hand, turns to Killer Frost just like her doppelganger in Earth 2.
Due to the Flashpoint, a loop was created which fuelled the existence of Savitar. Savitar is the supervillain of this season as he is Barry’s time remanent, and also kills Iris (5 months into the future).

The first-ever season to make a non-speedster the formidable enemy of Barry Allen. We see introduced to DeVoe, who thinks humankind and its intelligence is dwindling due to rapid progressions in technology. Thus, he creates metahumans who would help him achieve his goals. However, in the end, we see Barry winning the battle with human emotions and empathy.
The big revelation comes Barry and Iris’s daughter, Nora, was the mysterious speedster who saved the Central City. She comes from the future, and if not for her, the city would have been in shambles.
We also see Barry and Iris setting a date, and then getting married. However, their married life had a tumultuous start as they deal with it their new lives. After short adversity on Earth-X, Barry moves from a snatching by DeVoe, yet is enclosed for the man’s crime and sentenced to life in prison.
Another main plot point is how Caitlin realises that frosty abilities weren’t stolen, but rather deeply rooted inside of her. She looks into the rearview mirror of a bike and turns to Killer Frost.

Season 5 revolves around Nora, whom we had a glimpse of in Season 4 – the supposed daughter or Allen and Iris. Nora has messed up the timeline and needs both help and support from her parents to make it alright. On the other hand, she has also come to fetch the love she was deprived of in the future.
